SNOW!!!!!!!!

God this weather in Virginia Beach is ridiculous!! I have never seen snow like this in two back to back weeks like this at the beach. Is it worse anywhere else??

What I learned from Chapter 2

After reading chapter two, I found out that this chapter was all about the Internet and internet related components. I know the Internet is made up of webpages which are a collection of documents that are compiled together. They are also made up of websites which are also compiled of information as well. We In order to get to a particular website you have to type what is called a URL into the address bar at the top. ISP stands for Internet Service Provider, which is a provider who can provide access to the Internet. There are different ways to connect to the interent through both wired and wireless conenctions. Wired connections can consist of DSL and Cable, which can provide a highspeed connection. There is also wireless which can consist of WiFi or a mobile hotspot which can transfer information wireless without being connected.

So is anybody else watching the Grammys or watched the Grammys?? Who did you think had the best performance? Who's your favorite artist that won awards or who you thought should have won an award? Me personally I was excited to see Daft Punk come back strong and win two awards early and have one of the best performances of the night!!

First Time Blog Post

So this is my first time ever blogging and I definitely messed up on the first blog entry haha, so I'm gonna try this again for a second time around!!

My name is Travis Artis, and I'm originally from Richmond, Virginia. I'm not really sure what to write in a first time blog entry, so I'll just take that route of sharing three interesting things about me, so I guess this would be an introduction blog post. So here we go:

1.  I went to high school at Meadowbrook in Richmond, Virginia, and I played football for 4 years there. During my junior year we won the Div. 5 AAA State Championship and went 13-1 that year

2. For the past few years one of my favorite hobbies which has now turned into something I have now turned into an interest has been hookah :) It seems now people in Virginia Beach are just getting hip to it, but I'd like to consider myself a expert in it now ha

3. One of the biggest hurdles I found to overcome since coming to NSU is that its so hard to make new friends when you are a transfer student versus starting out fresh and having that staying on campus, dorm experience.

That was pretty easy, I might have to start taking an interest in blogging once i find out what I really want to talk about and share!!
